A Christian View 2022 #3

It's all about the lens - isn’t it? It brings colour to our world view, context to the world’s events and clarity to the world’s endless self- glorification.
We choose to see through another lens - and, courage, confidence and comfort creates a focus of faith. While others only look through the lens of politics, popularity, power and prosperity, the Christian climbs to the heights of the Holy Scriptures and what sights we see!
There, we see past the plans of man and understand the plans of God. We look beyond the brags and blogs and blunders of blind leaders. We see through the fog of false philosophies and cultish claims.
The Christian View of 2022 is anchored in His Promises, aligned with His Principles and assured by His Presence.
Ah, the world offers bad news for today, and spiritually bankrupt tomorrows. But the Believer considers Christ and His kingdom, contrasts the fading glory and gain of the Temporary with the surpassing splendor and wonder of the Eternal.
We envision a world where COVID is not King, Fear wears no crown and Christ is enthroned as Lord.
There is no Mother Nature, Father Time or Lady Luck - there is God
It’s not the horoscope, the Zodiac nor the crystals - it’s God’s Word
It’s not who’s at 24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa or 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington -
It’s God’s Son who’s on The Throne.
The forward look into the future is calm and connected to the Rock of Ages.
The coming year holds no trouble for which God’s grace will not be sufficient, no loss that will be greater than His love and no pain that can conquer His peace and presence.
