The Joy Smith Foundation

The Joy Smith Foundation has launched the National Human Trafficking Education Centre.  The Education Centre is ground-breaking as it will be the first and only online Education Centre in Canada to comprehensively address the issue of human trafficking on a national scale.

 We believe education is our greatest weapon in ending this heinous crime.  Knowledge can help prevent and intervene in human trafficking and working together, we can end it.  Survivors can heal, Families can be reunited, Justice can be served.

 The Centre will provide education for teachers, parents, front-line police officers and other responders, and all Canadians ready to play a vital role in the prevention and intervention of human trafficking.  The Centre will ensure every Canadian has access to learn about human trafficking and the vital role that each of us can play in its prevention and intervention.
